In fact, they both have the same pre-order price at the time of this writing. Of course, Amazon gives you free shipping and no sales tax, which is not true with Golfsmith. One of the things that I like the most about the Callaway uPro MX GPS is its size. It is super thin and lightweight.
As you can see, it will easy fit in your pocket or in the side of your golf bag. And even though it is very small in size, you are not sacrificing anything when it comes to image quality. This device has some of the highest resolution I have ever seen on a color golf GPS unit. And you don’t comprise on screen size – it’s a 2.2 inch LCD screen.
You get over 25,000 courses preloaded into the unit, and you can add more. No annual fee – big bonus for this unit.
The technology in this device is more advanced than other golf GPS units. It has a transflective screen, which actually uses the sun’s glare to its advantage and makes the screen easily visible. The color touch screen is multi-gesture.

I’ve just told you where I recommend buying your Callaway uPro MX golf GPS unit. I think the best price on it is at Amazon because of the free shipping and no sales tax. Plus, they have a no questions ask super easy return policy. Also, Golfsmith is not shipping until 5/26 while Amazon will have it on your doorstep on 5/23.
If you have other shopping to do at your local Golfsmith store, then I suggest buying it online on the Golfsmith site with a pickup at your local store. That will at least save you the shipping cost, but you will still need to pay the sales tax.
